PROJECT 3

Students are required to come out with 90 seconds of animatio video by using 3dsmax.

Drew a curve line by using NURBS curve, as a path for camera to constraint

Under Animation button, click Path Constraint to assign camera to the path

See whether the camera is on the right track

Under render setup,
Time output - Active Time Segment 0 to 50

Output size - HDTV (1080)

*Make sure the Auto key is on before rendering*

I use only 50 frames so i can render faster, and adjust the speed in Premiere Pro

Bedroom rendering

Same technique as above.

Hide roof so that i can see the camera position and path

Assign camera target to path constraint on the curve line

To create blowing leaves, use PF source

Draw the outline of leaf and extrude it so that it became a solid object

Under PF source, go to Particle View for further setting.

Replace Shape with Shape Instance so that i can assign the leaf as my elements

Under Display panel, the display type as geometry so that the leaves can be shown.

Object emit amount as 200 is enough

Adjust the sun position to the intended place

Put the Force option into panel. Then Assign Wind as force

Wind (Red color) and its direction

Draw a straight to guide camera to record the interior of Ground floor

Same goes to upper floor. assign camera to the path

Assign target into the curve path so that can record the view

The downloaded apple is too geometrical.

TurboSmooth it so that the surface is much more realistic

Draw line for Sun to move along the line

Turn on AutoKey and Set at the start and the end of timeline bar before go to render setup to render the video

Use Premiere pro to edit the video.

To create the gradually vanish kind effect, at the starting point, the scale of the text big, then set key, make scale smaller as the time passed.

Arrange the video in place and preview it before encoding

Encode output in AVI format

Final outcome of the video

*Kindly watch in 1080p*
