PROJECT 1
Students are required to study and produce a Preliminary Investigation report of a Historical Building. The report compromises information of the owner, hstorical and social background, and the objective for conservation. The report is to be accompanied with a setof measured drawings. This project will expose students to first stage of building conservation framework.
Our target for this assignment is Gedung Raja Abdullah which located at Klang.
Report and Measured Drawings:
Students are required to produce a "Mini Seminar" on issues pertaining building conservation.Students need to share their opinions and findings on conservation from lectures and surveys. The purpose of the seminar is to identify the level of understanding and awareness of students on conservation.
PROJECT 2

This project will require students to propose for potential new usage for building conservation. It will requires students to investigate and observe practices and approaches on architectural conservation in Malaysia. Students are to organize trips to several stes in order to explore, comprehend and form opinion which subsequently captured in a proposal statement and illustrated diagrams.

As i am interested in observing and exploring the beauty of heritage and historical buildings, this modules definitely important for students to understand the procedures and provisions to conserve and preserve the buildings, that tell the society certain stories and histories, as well as a symbol to showcase the pioneer of Malaysia architecture. The assignments are well-prepared for students to learn from basic measured drawings of historical building to proposal of adaptive reuse.
