In a group of 8, students are required to conduct a case study on a local auditorium. Throughout the site visit, they are expected to understand and observe critically, about the acoustic system of the particular space. For our group, we decided Putrajaya International Convention Centre as our target site, which located at Putrajaya. The plenary hall as our acoustical study area, which is mainly for speech activities to be happen.
PROJECT 1
This final assignment of Building Science 2 is an integration project, which aligns with Architectural Studio 5 project - a community library. Students are required to produce a comprehensive analysis, such as daylighting analysis. Then they have to design which coordinates and implements the PSALI design strategies.
Space A is more toward a study of natural daylight and its appropriate usage of artificial lighting.
Space B is more toward on solely usage of artificial lighting.
All the findings and proposals were demostrated into an A1 board and report.
