This project helps me a lot in understanding the building construction process as well as building materials. We have a chance to experience in the construction site through our 5 senses, which is unable to get from the textbook or Internet. Working in a group, communication always the important part so that everyone can collaborate with each other, and we can split our parts equally and submit in the time.

This project is an integration project which collaborates with Architectural Design Studio 2 final project. Students are only allowed to use STEEL or TIMBER to construct their individual project. They need to explore and research to demostrate the knowledge of building construction process and building materials on their proposal.

They would more likely to show substructure of the proposed building:

-Roof

-Slab

-Columns and beams

-Roof
