REFLECTION

Throughout this assignment, I learned how to do research and findings in much more effective ways to get more informations from the resources such as Internet and books. Since we can't go to the site to get a clear view of the building, but through the mediums such as above, we can imagine that we were there to do our analysis. Meanwhile, I understand to plan the presentation board layout with my informations. I able to think when the problems come such as the information of materials of building is not that easy to find as others on Internet. I managed to get those information from magazine and books.

REFLECTION

From the intial stage to start off this board, I managed to arrange the information into a board layout that easy for viewer to read through easily. This practices me to locate and align the findings in a much effective ways as a presentation board. Hence, it trained my creativity to create our own diagram the explain the analysis that we learned from the reference books. From the conclusion, we could form our opinion from diverse perspective. We can see the building as a normal person, an architect, or an architecture student. Every comments from the different angle but still Borromini (San Carlino's architect) unites all the views and successfully express the feeling in term of architectural.

REFLECTION

Discipline specific knowledge

To be honest, I thought this assignment was aims to allow students to get understanding of the building in term of architectural terms, according to the sketches and diagram they do. So, end up my sketchbook is TOO sketchy and felt guilty for my tutor. Anyway, this was a good experince to practice my free hand drawing skill and scale proportion assumption. Meanwhile, it trained us to be creative enough to express our own diagram, which based on our understanding on San Carlino as our target building. From many different perspectives, we can understand the building even we were not there to experience the surrounding or interior, but through the medium given such as Internet and books, we could feel how gorgeous or impressive is the works that did by the past architect. Finally, i think that this assignment assists us to look at a building in a professional's view.
