The design principles involved:

-Balance

-Hierarchy

-Contrast

-Harmony / Unity

-Pattern

-Dynamic / Movement

-Random

-Radial

-Clustered

-Emphasis

-Repetition / Rhythm

-Linear

-Centralised

-Axis

-Datum

Our material and concept:

Straw. We chose "connection" as our concept because what makes straw special about is it can connect with other straws by the technique of inserting. Other than that, we use sewing method to attach the straws on our artwork because it also a kind of connection! Between canvas and straw!

The inspirations:

-Bicycle wheel

-Spiral stairs

-Pipe system

-Heart

-Abyss

-Maze

-Electric board

-Junction

REFLECTION

This project unifies a team and makes us together to complete the artworks. To finish this assignment, I taught other members to sew so we can finish our project as soon as possible. SInce that, we distribute the tasks very well to ensure that everyone can finish their own task. It is highly related to interpersonal communication and relationship. We did a lot of research to get the best inspiration that can fit into our concept.
